The following body versions are available from the factory: Van, Box, Chassis and a base for specialist bodywork. The second generation of the Volkswagen Crafter is a completely new, innovative design. Also available is the fully electric VW e-Crafter with a curb weight of 2,544 kg and a maximum power of 136 hp. The real range of the electric van is 135 kilometers.

All these elements mean that the delivery vehicle has the same facilities as passenger cars. Additional equipment is available in vehicles with specialized superstructures and is tailored to the individual needs of the customer. On the roads, you can meet ambulances, minibuses, or even refrigerators built on the basis of VW Crafter II. Very often they have a higher curb weight, which results from additional equipment. The more amenities there are inside the vehicle, the higher its weight.
