Fuel pump pressure regulator valve Peugeot Boxer 2.2 HDi new dispenses the right amount of fuel in the engine, which then goes to the high pressure rail injectors. The solenoid valve is mounted on the back of the injection pump. Tight installation of this part in the injection pump is extremely important, therefore the solenoid valve is sold in a set with a gasket and O-ring (shown in the pictures). The injection pump solenoid valve for 2.2 HDi engines in the Peugeot Boxer 2006 is also sometimes called the high pressure regulator. The high pressure pump solenoid is used in the common rail system, which consists in electronic control of the direct fuel injection system in diesel engines, including the 2.2 HDi engine.
