Exhaust system Renault Master 2010 consists of EGR valve, exhaust manifold and others.
Exhaust system of the Renault Master 3 not only removes exhaust gases from the engine. In turbocharged diesels fumes are used to power the turbocharger. Exhaust system is also responsible for filtering dangerous chemicals from the exhaust gases and reducing noise . For this purpose in Renault Master 2.3 dCi there is DPF, EGR, catalytic converter and AdBlue system.

Exhaust Manifold Renault Master 2.3 dCi
Exhaust system in every car, van or truck starts with an exhaust manifold. This part is exposed to huge changes of temperature. It’s mounted into the studs in the engine block with nuts. Exhaust manifold is made of the highest quality materials to endure high pressure and temperature of the exhaust gases. Sometimes the exhaust manifold may crack and start to leak. Welding the crack may help but only if material near the crack isn’t weakend. At all times it’s better to buy a new highest quality spare or genuine part instead of repairing because problems may reappear.
EGR Renault Master 3
One of the systems applied to reduce emission of dangerous substances to the environment is the exhaust gas recirculation system commonly called EGR. A part of exhaust gases is recirculated to the intake manifold and mixed with the intake air. To control the amount of recirculated gases is used an EGR valve, next part of the EGR system is the exhaust gas cooler.
DPF, Adblue, catalytic converter Renault Master 3
To purify exhaust gases in Renault Master III since 2014 are three elements: Ad Blue system, DPF and catalytic converter. AdBlue is a liquid which is squirted into the exhaust before the catalytic converter to neutralise NOx into nitrogen and water. DPF - diesel particulate filter accumulates solid particles and then burns them out. DPF reduces emission of PM10 and PM2.5. Catalytic converter in diesel engines as 2.3 dCi from Renault is an oxidation catalyst. Noble metals inside of it are neutralising toxins and reducing air pollution. Less text
