The French manufacturer has not prepared major changes for 2020. Citroen Jumper 2020 is a duplication of the old structure, implementation of new security systems and creating special versions of vehicles on behalf of the police, fire brigade and other services.
Modern safety systems are slowly being included in standard vehicle equipment. The amenities that can be found in the Citroen Jumper 2020 include: Active Safety Brake, unintentional line crossing alarm, blind spot control system, traffic sign recognition system, automatic light switching, and Grip Control intelligent traction control system. For an additional fee, a radar can be installed in the vehicle, which detects elements within 50 meters of the vehicle. Citroen is also working on introducing a radar system in the future that would enable autonomous driving. Something that seemed a sci-fi creation a dozen or so years ago is slowly becoming a reality.
Another change that will appear in the offer of available Citroën Jumper is the fully electric version. Electric drive will be available for all body lengths. The first vehicle presentation took place during a show in Birmingham in 2017. The factory in Val di Sangro in Italy is responsible for the production of this models. The vehicles will be electrified and approved by BD AU. Initially, a range of 270 kilometers on a single charge was announced, however further tests indicate a real range of 150/180 km. The electric Jumper will in fact be a Peugeot Boxer with a different body.
